COSTS
Day Retreats £10.00 per head (with lunch) or £6.00 per head (without lunch).
Half-day or Evening Retreats - £6.00 per head (donations towards coffee etc. would be appreciated )
INSURANCE
Although The Church’s Insurance Cover will apply for one-off bookings from organisations outside Uphill Methodist Church, it is recommended that those hiring the premises for groups should ensure that they have their own Insurance cover for such events.
SAFEGUARDING
The Requirements of the Methodist Church Safeguarding Policy will apply to all those using the premises.
FIRE and RISK
Details of Escape Routes and equipment together with the Risk Assessment are displayed in the Hall and Group Leaders should familiarise themselves with these before the event starts.
CATERING
The Church members are happy to arrange any catering required - from hot meals to cold luncheons and/or picnic packs. Notice will be required 7 days prior to the event.
Groups just using the premises for sessions without meals are welcome to use the kitchen facilities during/before or after the session. Milk etc. will be provided. There are two preparation/serving areas.
CLEANING
We do not employ cleaners so we would appreciate careful use of the premises and ask you to clean up after you as far as possible.
